The internal hot mirror filter of this Sigma DP2 Merrill was removed, making foveon sensor, sensitive to UV, visible and infrared light. The FS DP2 Merrill produces similar EIR colors as the DP1x ( see Sigma DP1x gallery), at a higher resolution. No external filter was used, but a custom WB capture is required to set up for EIR colors, and I'd have to say that WB capture is extremely difficult on the DP2M !! Pre-Merrill DPs are much easier to set up.
