Sigma digitals use a 3-layer Foveon sensor, which produce unique results, in full spectrum photography. The color sensitivity is very similar to Kodak EIR Aerochrome film. No over-the-lens filter is required, and no color swap is needed to produce the final image. The colors and tone look like this straight out of the camera.
